Central's 2023 Champions have been found.  It's our favourite time of year when all grades and clubs battle it out for the district titles.  Ohakune turned on great warm weather and warm hospitality once again.  With 4 titles Ohakune took out the Club Champions trophy.  Our 2023 Champions eligible for Nationals in Whangarei are:

The Junior Team who will represent Squash Central at the upcoming New Zealand Junior National Championship in Wellington from 29th September until 4th October are as follows:

The 2023 Junior Prince wrapped up on Sunday 30th July at Ohakune Squash Club.  The Series had another popular following and after 16 rounds came down to a 2 point difference separating the winner Tahlia Kean of SquashGym from Hunterville's Jack Richardson.  A huge thank you has to goto our long time sponsors Prince.  Be sure to support them when making your next purchase.  Prize winners were:

The 2023 Central Juniors took place in Ohakune over the weekend of 29th - 30th July with age group titles played for by Juniors throughout the central region.  Ohakune turned on stunning weather for the participants with one noticeable upset in the Under 19 Girls, third seed Isla Sweeney of SquashGym Palmerston North played some stunning squash to take down top seed Grace Burnard and take the title on countback.  Isla was playing up a grade and took her age groups Under 17 title as well!
