Great Performances by Brodie Bennett and the Boys

After a huge 5 straight days of Squash the Central Junior boys performed well beating their seeding of 3rd in Division two to take it out beating Southland in the final.

Due to the number of teams entered Squash NZ split the field into two divisions this year which was a controversial decision.  Our boys ended up 6th overall.

In the individual competition Brodie Bennett of Tararua brought home the silverware in an all Central 5 setter final against Whanganui's Maximus Mathews for the U13 boys title.

Aria Bannister of Whanganui also took out runner up position in another 5 setter for the girls U13 division.  Other great results were Anabel Romero-Gemmell 12th seed finishing 6th in the U19s. Reece Holmes U15 in 10th seed finished 9th.  U19's Matt Adshead in 17th finishing 15th, Lachlan Greensill in 18th finished 17th, Connor Fortuin in/finished 28th.
