Under 17 age group all green

Our Junior Reps are home after an intensive 6 days at Hutt City, competing in the New Zealand Junior Nationals. They certainly made Central proud with their behaviour on and off the court. The Under 17 age group was dominated by Central players with Anabel Romero-Gemmell and Brodie Bennett both taking out the Under 17 titles.
Congratulations to our girls who maintained their 3rd place seeding after a win (2-2 count back) against Canterbury today.
Well done also to the boys who secured 4th place this morning after a 1-3 loss to Canterbury. This was a jump of 2 places in their seedings, a solid effort from one of the younger teams at the event!
Final seedings in the individual age groups - we had several players either equal or better their original seeding - awesome mahi!

There were lots of thrilling, edge of your seat moments during the games.

And a final thanks to the manager Virginia Laws who has worked tirelessly in the background and coaches Matt Laurenson and Tamsyn Leevey for all their work leading up to and during the event.

Well done Central Juniors!
