North Island Junior Age Groups

The biggest event to be hosted in Central for 2023 kicks off today in Whanganui.  A field of 120 top Juniors from throughout the North Island have arrived to compete.

The competition kicks off at midday Friday and runs through until midday Sunday.  There are 10 titles up for grabs in both the boys and girls, Under 11, Under 13, Under 15, Under 17 and Under 19 divisions.  Central being the hosts has a good contingent of Juniors in the mix especially our top two boys in the Under 17 draw Brodie Bennett (third seed) of Tararua and Maximus Mathews (second seed) of Whanganui.  These two will be fighting it out against top seed Oliver Dunbar of Wellington (All 3 of these boys have represented NZ) and the rest of the 24 strong under 17 boys field.  Head on down to the club and watch the Junior action over the weekend.
